NEW YORK — Mrs. Grace Mainor Bowden, 95, of 83 St. Nicholas Place, formerly of Garland, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at Calvary Hospital in Bronx, N.Y.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11, at Carter Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Garland Community Cemetery.
Mrs. Bowden is survived by one adopted daughter, Shirley King of New York, N.Y.; and cousin, Gertie Pearl Herring of Garland.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 11, from 1 - 2 p.m. before the service at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
