CLINTON — Mr.English Nelson, 73, of 704 Williams St., died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012 in Birmingham, Ala. Mr. Nelson was born in Sampson County in 1940 to the late Frank Nelson Sr. and Jessie Nelson Moore.

A home going service will held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, at St. Jude United Holy Church with elder Willie H. Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Sandhill Cemetery

Mr. Nelson leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Jessie Nelson Moore of Clinton; daughters, Patricia N. Oliver of Ft. Myers, Fl., Angela Oliver of Silver Springs, Md., Sharon Blackman and Sharon Ringstaff, both of Birmingham Ala,; sons, Anthony Marshall of Texas, James Lewis and Frank C. Lewis, both of New York, Frankie Ringstaff and John Ringstaff of Alabama; sisters, Grace Ratley, Ida Dennis, Shirley Corbett, Amani Rahmani, Patricia M. Simmons, all of New York, and Betty Nelson of Sumter, S.C.; brothers, Simon Nelson of Clinton, Cleveland Nelson of West Virginia, Mickey Nelson and Frank Nelson Jr., both of Sumter, S.C.

A public viewing will be held 1 until 5 p.m. with family present 5 until 6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 9, at Hope Valley Funeral Service & Cremation and other times at the home.

The Nelson Family has entrusted services to Hope Valley Funeral Service & Cremation, Clinton.
