Luther L. King, 57
CLINTON — Mr. Luther L. King, 57, of 295 Serenity Lake Drive, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Luther was born in Sampson County in 1955 to the late Luther Ballard and Lou Mae Mathis.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Union Star Original Free Will Baptist Church in Clinton with bishop James Lefdwrige officiating.
Burial will follow in the Sandhills Cemetery.
Luther leaves to cherish his memory sisters, Callie D. James of Macon, Ga., Sherille Monk of Clinton, Glenda McPhail, Shell McPhail, Beverly McPhail and Jackie McPhail, all of Philadelphia.
A public viewing will be held at Hope Valley Funeral Service on Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 1-5 p.m.
The King Family has entrusted services to Hope Valley Funeral Service & Cremation 1275 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton.
