Clinton High club gives back
The CHS/FCCLA classes recently donated to the fall food drive as a community service project, partnering with Smart Start. Students helped local families in Sampson County to celebrate Thanksgiving by collecting canned food items. Natasha Faircloth, from Smart Start, came out to collect items earlier this month. Students worked hard and collected two full boxes of items to help families make a Thanksgiving meal an enjoyable one to remember. Students were able to learn about citizenship and how helping can make a difference in their community. Jeannette Butler, Donna Owens and Tracy Hatcher are advisors to this club and said they are very proud of everyone's work. (Courtesy photo)
