MOUNT OLIVE — Mr. Giovanni “John” Falcone, 81, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

Born in Rome, N. Y. to Italian parents, the late Pasquale and Mary Russo Falcone.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Dec. 13 from 3 to 5 p.m.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 14 at Our Lady of Gaudalupe Catholic Church with Father Rafael Leon. Interment will be at the church cemetery with military honors officiated by Rev. Bob Clark. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall after the service.

The family request no flowers please.
