Chancey S. Ward Sr.
VASS — Mr. Chancey Samuel Ward Sr., 86, passed away on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at his home.
A home-going celebration will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with pastor John Brown officiating, with military honors to follow. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Sam was born in Charlotte, on Dec. 23, 1926 to Herschal and Ruby Funderburk Ward. He was the husband of Geraldine Daniel Ward.
