Quentine Barksdale

PHOENIX, Ariz. — Mr. Quentine Barksdale, 43, of 15 West Mariposa St., passed away on Jan. 13, 2013 in Phoenix.

A home-going service will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 at Union Grove Church of Christ at 716 Lisbon St. Clinton with Dr. Rev. Timothy Peppers officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Quentine was born to Billy Barksdale and Rosetta Owens in 1969.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, and later moved to Arizona where he became a barber.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Rosetta Owens of Clinton; father, Billy (Mae) Barksdale of Clinton; grandmother, Elizabeth Barksdale; sons, Quentine Barksdale of Newton Grove, Zaiquian Barksdale of Clinton, Osaybeon Newton of Clinton; daughters, Dyncqua Johnson, Nieshia Barksdale, Ladoja Barksdale and Andrian Butler, all of Clinton; brother, TaJ (Margret) Barksdale of New Jersey; sisters, Krista (Vaughn) Anders of Clinton, Sabara Fisher of Fayetteville, Adelan (Dominic) Tacla of Fayetteville, Saha Fisher of Clinton, Chardiella Barksdale of Clinton, and Cardiellea Barksdale of Clinton; and three grandchildren.

A public viewing was held from 1-7 p.m., with the family present from 5-7 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 26,at Hope Valley Funeral Chapel.

The Barksdale Family has entrusted services to Hope Valley Funeral Service & Cremation of Clinton.

~RIP~ You will be dearly missed. I miss our chats and all those damn wise cracks.. two feeder pigs? bahahahaha. I love you man. Im not sure what was going on, but I do know your smile could light up a room. I miss you man. RIP.
