Grover E. Musselwhite

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Colonel Grover E. “Gene” Musselwhite, USAF Retired, slipped the surly bonds of earth and reached out to touch the face of God on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013. He was a resident in the Memory Care Unit at HarborChase of Rock Hill. He was 73 years of age.

A celebration of life service for Colonel Musselwhite will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, at First Presbyterian Church. Visitation will follow in the church parlor.

Colonel Musselwhite was born on Nov. 16, 1939 in Fayetteville, NC, to the late Hazel Britt and Marvin Duncan Musselwhite. He was the husband of Joan Musselwhite.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Colonel Musselwhite’s name to First Presbyterian Church, 234 E. Main St, Rock Hill, SC 29730; Hospice Care of South Carolina, 1230 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732 or the Alzheimer’s Association.
