Jannie Mae Morrisey, 90
WARSAW — Mrs. Jannie Mae Fryar Morrisey, 90, of 126 Macon Morrisey Road, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at Carolina East Hospice Care Center, Kenansville.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, at Gospel Light United Holy Church, Mt. Olive, with Elder Dwight Morrisey officiating. Burial in Mt. Zion A.M.E Church Cemetery, Delware, NC.
The visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 15, from 1 - 8 p.m. with the family present form 6:30 - 8 p.m. at Brock Memorial & Worley Funeral Home, Clinton.
Mrs. Morrisey is survived by her daughters, Gwendolyn Simmons of Goldsboro, Betty Hicks of Poughkeepsie, NY, Vaniese Merritt and Queenie Schauss, both of the home, Linda Johnson and Dinah Monk, both of Warsaw; sons, John E. Merritt, Jr. of Warsaw, Romeo Morrisey of Knoxville, Tenn., Elder Dwight Morrisey of Goldsboro; sister, Susan Hooks of Wallace; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
