Sampson Geography Bee winners announced
On Friday, Jan. 11, Sampson Middle School held their Geography Bee.  This is the 24th year of National Geography Bee competition which is sponsored by the National Geographic Society. Schools with students in grades four through eight are eligible for this entertaining and challenging test of geographic knowledge. The SMS school winner was Parker Johnson, right, and the runnerup was Trace Glover.
The other finalists in this year's competition were Jacob Bauman, Zachary Darden, Jackson Glover, Austin Johnson, and Noel Turlington.
