MOUNT OLIVE — Linda M. Oates, 46, of 745 Hollingsworth Road, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Goshen Disciple Church of Christ, Faison, with Pastor Donald Dewitt officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Newton Grove.
She is survived by two daughters, ShaKala Williams and Wantina Oates of Newton Grove; parents, Harry T. Oates Sr. and Annie Warren Oates of the home; one grandson, Derrick McDougal II; one brother, Harry T. Oates Jr. of Dudley; and one sister, Jerrica New of the home.
Viewing will be held from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Garris Funeral Home Chapel.
