Todd Kaiser & Kaiser Transport Inc. recently announced its winners for the Annual Safety Award and Driver of the Year 2012.
This year there were eight drivers that received the Annual Safety Award — Billy Yarbrough of Beloit, Wis., John Debardelaben of Hamilton, Ga., Tom Barlass of Janesville, Wis., Terry Rookstool of Avalon, Wis., Tony Medina of Orange, Calif., James Rogers of Lancaster, Ohio, Jim Santy of Clinton, NC, and Jon Zaeske of Waupaca, Wis.. This award goes to those drivers who received the monthly safety bonus every month by being safe on the road, arriving on time, no claims, no out-of-services’, and no damage to the equipment. The drivers received an individual wall plaque, a cash award, and a years’ supply of logs.
The Driver of the Year award is the highest award presented to a driver at Kaiser Transport. This year Kaiser Transport presented the Driver of the Year award to Jim Santy of Clinton, NC. Santy was recognized for his outstanding performance in the areas of safety, customer relations, handling of freight, and his contributions to the success of the company. Jim received the Kaiser Traveling Trophy, individual wall plaque, and a cash award.
Kaiser Transport, Inc is a less-than-truckload trucking company that specializes in hauling machines and equipment to 48 states and the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec. Kaiser currently has about 100 employees that work out of terminals in Janesville and Los Angeles.
