The Hobbton Wildcat baseball team lost a close one Tuesday night, 2-0, to Princeton. The Wildcats gave up 2 hits and walked 7, which gave Princeton their two scores in the top of the fifth inning.

Hunter Britt was the losing pitcher.

Gregory Herring, Aaron Townsend, Chris Gautier and Brandon Rogers each had a hit.

Wildcat coach Mike Joyner said, “We have shown a lot of improvement but we need to keep working at it.”
