
Union High School held a military appreciation and flag dedication program on Friday, December 7, the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Tony Rackley (left), owner of Tony's Custom Cabinets and a 1975 Union High graduate, spoke to students and had the honor of framing the flag that was dedicated. The flag was flown over the U.S. embassy in Baghdad, Iraq. Captain Mark Robinson, a native of Harrells and a 1980 Union High graduate, and Mrs. Faye Gay, Vice Chairperson on the Sampson County Board of Education, were also featured speakers.
