RALEIGH — Jerry Earl Sumner, 76, passed away Friday , Dec. 14, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Monday at Garner Advent Christian Church. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Brenda Sumner; daughter, Tracey Thompson; son, Scott Sumner (Cathy); four loving grandchildren; sisters, Hilda Burke and Linda Clifton (Howard); brothers, Bobby Sumner (Beverly) and Kenneth Sumner (Rita); and his adored sister-in-law, Carolyn Sumner.
