CLINTON — Ms. Barbara Hines, 64, of 216-A Morrisey Blvd., died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
A homegoing service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at Hope Valley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Thomas R. Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Sandhills Cemetery in Clinton.
Ms. Hines was born July 15, 1948, in Sampson County to the late John O. and Nokomis Faison Hines and was a member of First Baptist Church, 900 College St. He was also preceded in death by sister Brenetta Hines and brothers John O. Hines Jr., Edward M. Hines and Jan Hines.
Ms. Hines leaves to cherish her memory: one brother, Dr. Bill Hines (Sonya) of Camillus, N.Y.; aunt, Martha Oates of Clinton; uncles, Edward Faison and Morrell Faison, both of Clinton; great-Aunt, Francis Faison of Clinton; and special sister-in-law, Rochelle Pritchard of Clinton.
A public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at Hope Valley Funeral Service & Cremation with family present from 6 to 7 p.m., and other times at the home of her aunt Martha Oates, 423 E. Morrisey Blvd.
