James R. Carr
CLINTON — Mr. James Ray Carr, 29, of 39 Sylvia Lane, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.
Mr. Carr was preceded in death by a brother Algenion T. Carr.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Ivanhoe. Burial will follow in the Garland Community Cemetery.
Mr. Carr is survived by his fiancée Consuelo Leon of Salemburg; mother, Brenda Liles and step father, Dennis Liles, both of Clinton; father, James Earl Townsend of Garland; seven brothers, Stanley Carr, Ryan Carr, Bryan Carr, all of Clinton, Timothy Carr of Harrells, Mario Townsend of Fayetteville, Shawn Townsend of California, James Earl “Pumkin” Townsend of Germany; and one sister, Samantha Kerr of Roseboro,
The public will be receive friends from 1 until 6 p.m. Sunday at Carter Funeral Home, with the family present from 5 until 6 p.m.
