STEDMAN — Mr. Donnie Ray Cannady, 73, of 5989 Roebud Road., formerly of Garland, died Tuesday, Feb. 5 at The Carol S. Roberson Hospice Center in Fayetteville.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 at Magnolia Baptist Church in Stedman, by the Rev. Jason Whitfield, the Rev. Hampton Faircloth and the Rev. Jessie Croom. Burial will follow in the Garland Cemetery.

Mr. Cannady is survived by his daughter, Donnett Mobley and husband Todd of Stedman; two grandchildren, Michael Mobley and fiancé Ashley Dorman of Raleigh and David Mobley and girlfriend Lauren McPhail of Stedman; and one sister, Margaret Barnes of White Lake.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday. Feb. 8 at Magnolia Baptist Church in Stedman.
