Lawrence Marshburn
CLINTON — Lawrence (Larry) Marshburn Sr., 85, of 120 Southwood Drive, formerly of Dunn, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 at Mary Gran Nursing Center.
Mr. Marshburn was born June 3, 1927 in Sampson County to the late David Cleveland and Martha Edwards Marshburn.
A graveside service was held Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Matthis Family Cemetery on the Turkey Highway, with pastor Roy Hilburn officiating, with military honors by VFW Post 7547.
Mr. Marshburn is survived by a daughter, Beverly Naylor of Clinton; a sister, Laurene Keltner of Arizona; a granddaughter, Laura Marshburn of Raleigh; and a grandson, Chris Naylor of Clinton
The Naylor and Marshburn Family has entrusted Hope Valley Funeral Service & Cremation with the service.
