The Hobbton Wildcats volleyball team got two shutout wins over Jones Senior on Wednesday afternoon. The JV won in straight sets, while the varsity won in three sets at home.

The scores for all the varsity sets were 25-19. The Wildcats avenged an Aug. 30 loss at Jones Senior, 3-2.

“We might be getting a little better,” said Hobbton coach Russell Jones. “Presley Roesch, Haley Boone, Gracie Jones, K. Rodriquez all had several aces. Our hitters did really good job. Our deep setters, Cooper Bland and Cassie Driver did a good job setting those girls up. Our two substitutes, Abbie Simmons and Claire Meyers both did a good job. All around, we had a good night.”
